Dentures and Partials

At the Dental Center in Maryland, we offer full and partial dentures. Full and partial dentures are removable appliances used to restore esthetics and function in a mouth that has lost some or all teeth. Removable partial dentures are held in the mouth with clasps around natural teeth. Upper full dentures are held in the mouth with suction, acting like a suction cup to the upper arch. Lower full dentures present a larger problem. There is no suction with the lower arch. In order to experience true comfort with a lower full denture, dental implants are recommended to hold the lower full denture in place.
